Innovation Fellow

Daniel Stokes is an innovation fellow at the Penn Medicine Center for Digital Health. During his yearlong fellowship, he plans to research how online social platforms reflect and influence user health. He is particularly interested in exploring how online platforms might enable us to understand and bring awareness to the perspectives of marginalized communities. 

Daniel is currently pursuing a medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a master’s degree in epidemiology from the Brazilian National School of Public Health, where he studied the distribution of health outcomes in an employee friendship network.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in physics from Georgetown University.
